Time Trial Pre-Junior League Gala at Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre

There are two attachments to this email. One shows the team for the Pre Junior League gala which is being swum at Tiddenfoot on Saturday 4th May warm up 5,15pm and the other is a list of swimmers who are invited to attend for time trials at the same time as the gala ,so they can get up to date times under gala conditions. It is quite likely that some of those down for time trials may end up swimming in the gala. Some may do both.
This is a practice gala for the actual Junior League. The dates for the league galas are 1st June, 6th July and the 14th September so please put these dates into your diaries.This is particularly important for this group of galas as the age groups are 9,10,11, and 12. Most galas are swum in 2 year age bands so there is more flexibility in choice of swimmers.The format of the Junior League galas is challenging for most clubs so swimmers please try to be available.
Please let Lesley Cox know whether you are able to swim whether it be in the gala or the time trial as we need to be organised.
If there is anyone else out there in this age range who would like to time trial please let me know.

Hi All,
Here is the team sheet for a gala at Tiddenfoot on Saturday 20th April. Warm up is at 5.15pm for a 5.30 start.
Please let me know by email, phone or ticking the notice on the board, which will be up by Tuesday, whether you can swim. As always we will need help from friends and parents to run this gala so please let me know about that too.
Chiltern League swims the week before, on the 13th, and will warm up at 5.15pm too so please be ready on poolside by then.

Maxwell Open Meet 15/16th June 2013

There is a two day open meet, at Aquavale, hosted by Maxwell S.C, the details of which are attached, and which will also be on the Maxwell website today

Open Meets are open to all swimmers above the age of 9 years. You swim as an individual, against other swimmers from competing clubs. It gives you the opportunity to try out different events you might not normally swim in club galas. Each Open meet has different qualifying times. This meet has ‘no faster times’ , together with a consideration time. So you cant enter if you swim faster than the ‘no faster times’, and really if you are slower than the consideration time.

We are going to handle the entry times differently for this meet, we would like anybody who wishes to enter to email to me the events they would like to swim. We will then enter the club entries en masse. When the entries have been accepted, we will then ask you to pay the race fees , which are set out in the info attached. Maxwell meets fill very quickly , so we will need your emails and entries by Tuesday 2nd April . No late ones please.
